Journey to the End of the Night

Journey to the End of the Night

What better way to celebrate our first stores in Quebec, we thought, than with a little exploration of the province? We sent fine art photographer Mikael Kennedy, his fiancé, folk singer Melaena Cadiz, and a suitcase full of Aritzia clothes on a 2,000-mile road trip to the Manicouagan Reservoir, known as the Eye of Quebec, which sits in the remote center of the province. The sixth largest impact crater on the planet, and clearly visible from space, the Eye of Quebec is stunning but, as with all the most memorable trips, this one was more about the journey than the destination. Fun fact: It was the couple’s last trip together before their wedding. Check back next week for a video from their trip, an interview with the newlyweds, and a look at more of Kennedy’s Polaroids.
