Born and raised in Queens, NY, DJ GETLIVE has been commanding the turntables all over NYC since 1999. His resume includes having won a BET 106 & Park DJ Battle in 2004, a slew of notoriously rad mixes with his partnering brands HOMEBASE and the MIDNIGHT ROCKERS EXPRESS, playing a range of music festivals and holding down tour-DJ duties for the likes of Homeboy Sandman, Theophilus London and Jared Evan. He’s currently the resident DJ at Taj Lounge, one of NYC’s premier clubs, where he is going on his fourth straight year holding down the turntables every Saturday Night.

 

He’s put together “a fun feel-good mix of dance tunes, old and new (and everything in between), to groove or vibe to”. Don’t sleep on our newest mix--DANCE! By DJ GETLIVE!
