Stylist Says ...

JUNE 3, 2010 By: hellohenny

Here's to kicking off our brand new "Stylist Says ..." blog series (say hi to hellohenny!) where our in-house team of stylists give pointers on how to pull outfits together.  We've started off with some very simple suggestions but feel free to comment and let us know what must-have pieces you're having a difficult time figuring out or how to mix and match the pieces you already have.  We'll be more than happy to show you how to work it!

Is the Talula Face sweater still available in edmonton?

Hi, I'm wondering if stores are still selling the Talula Babaton Abstract Dot dress? How much is it? I've looked in a couple stores in the Vancouver area and haven't been able to find it!

That dress was really popular and is currently sold out.  However, we have a re-order coming in that should hit stores around Sept 1st or so.  Be sure to check back then!

Can you give me some ideas for what to pair (tops and shoes/accessories) with my harem pants?

June 9, 2010 @ 10:00 PM: Anonymous

Can you give me some ideas for what to pair (tops and shoes/accessories) with my harem pants? Here are the outfits I wear my Harem pants with. Outfit 1 TOP: Black and white, quarter length shirt tucked into... BOTTOM: my khaki colored Harems with a black matte belt SHOES: my Michael Kors slippers Outfit 2 TOP: Black Aritzia loose racer back with black Wilfred bandeau tucked into... BOTTOM: my army green colored Harems with a camel brown matte belt SHOES: my Michael Kors slippers Outfit 3 TOP: Black Wilfred cropped long sleeved shirt with black lace body suit underneath BOTTOM: With my black colored Harems, no belt needed SHOES: Black pumps I find that tucking shirts into your Harems gives it that classic look. I also love pairing cropped shirts and adding a lace body suit for a very sexy yet sophisticated look. I would suggest being a lot less heavy on the top as Harems can give the illusion of a heavy bottom. Worn casually or on special occasions, Harems are the ultimate staple for the Summer of 2010. It is a stunning look!

How do you pull off the Talula Rose Leggings (the pink ones)?

June 3, 2010 @ 7:39 PM: cancansoo

Thanks for the input!  The team will take note of your question for future editions of this series.  Stay tuned!
