With the massive influx of people into town during the Olympics and the plethora of things going on here at this time, we thought it'd be only fair to share the fun with our staff from the East Coast. We brought some of them over to help out as well as to partake in the festivities. They seemed to know exactly how to mix work with pleasure because they had a great time! Here's an account from the perspective of Toronto-based sales associate Serina Lee:
Hi everyone,
I was given the amazing opportunity to head over to Vancouver to help out during the Olympics. Not only did I help out in the stores, I even got to go watch an Olympic game (women's hockey to be exact). How cool is that?! On my days off, I'd roam around downtown Vancouver, hitting up tourist spots such as Robson Square to watch people zip down the zip-line. I'd also follow the huge crowds along Robson Street, Granville Street and all around Yaletown to cheer on our Canadian athletes. Mingling with people from all around the world, gathering around Robson St. and celebrating whenever Canada won Gold were epic moments for me. I think this definitely instigated my patriotism because I began to have the urge to buy everything red and white! Here are some of the pictures from my trip
... hope you guys enjoy them! Thanks for having us!
Love, Serina
