Kid Chalupa is a New York (by way of Chicago) based DJ. In 2011, after a taking a dj-ing break for a few years Kid Chalupa was inspired to return to music and released a series of mixtapes named “Jtaime”. The Parsons Design grad and daytime editor at the likes of MTV, Discovery Channel and Nickelodeon, brings his keen sense of culture and design aesthetics to his music practice. We were thrilled to come across his mixes on Soundcloud, and asked him to join our roster of DJ playlist contributors.

Kid Chalupa is currently a resident DJ at Toro lounge in Tribeca, New York where he spins a monthly party of eclectic sounds that include Bmore Club, Juke, Booty Bass, Neo-Disco, House and Hip Hop Classics.
